One-to-ones
A few clips taken from singing sessions with 2 of my wonderful ladies. Every week is different in it's own way as we start with a loose theme (an emotion, a colour, a place etc.) and then let the afternoon flow naturally from one song to the next. Always a giggle along the way.

I think we've earned a cuppa ! A tea/ tea-party themed afternoon also featuring a teddy bear's picnic and of course with all that boiling water everywhere we must have had a few sospan fachs along the way. March 2023
A slight change of mood for a moment, the wonderful lady in the next few videos has trouble communicating due to living with dementia. It is such a delight, and sometimes a total surprise that has us all in tears as you will hear, to see her light up at an old familiar song. On this occasion it was one of her favourites 'When You Wish Upon A Star', I have had to make a note that she tends to sing along more with songs that are very high in pitch, a natural soprano and truly impressive to witness. In the background you can hear her daughter and son-in-law singing along and I would like to thank them for letting me share this beautiful moment, of course they are excellent singers too. And back to the fun stuff. We've got 2 for the price of one here: 'I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts' and 'Run, Rabbit, Run'. It's glorious to see this lady brighten up more and more throughout the session. After perhaps one or two repetitions of these classic songs we're all singing together and not only this, but getting extra silly playing with intonation and facial expression. Jolly Good fun.
And to finish, my knapsacks on my back for 'The happy wanderer' and don't dilly dally for 'My Old Man' following a van.
Group singalongs
Just a couple of videos to give you a taste of what we get up to during our afternoon social club singalongs
2 clips from our Birds themed session around Easter this year (if you're wondering why I have bunny ears on!) 'Bye bye blackbird' and in my opinion the best ever rendition of 'Close to you' live from Cafe50. We also had the Red, Red Robin, the kookaburra song, Zippidy do-dah and O For The Wings of a Dove as it's one of our regular's favourite. Of course the day wouldn't have been complete without Blue Birds over the White Cliffs of Dover.
